Sour Cream Cookie Recipe

Ingredients
1/4 cup butter
1/4 cup shortening
1 cup Sugar
1 egg
1 t. vanilla
2 2/3 cup Flour
1/2 t. baking soda
1/2 t. salt
1/4 t. nutmeg
1/2 cup sour cream
Preparation
Mix butter, shortening, sugar, egg and vanilla. Blend dry ingredients and add
to butter mixture alternating with sour cream. Refrigerate 1 hour. Using rolling
pin, roll out to 1/4 inch thick and cut using Christmas cookie cutters. Bake 425
oven for 8 - 10 minutes. Cookies should be lightly browned on the bottom. To decorate
either sprinkle with colored sugar before baking or frost the baked, cooled cookie.
