Fresh Cranberry Sauce Recipe from foodfreeway.com
Serving Size : Makes about 2 1/4 cups.


1 c. sugar
1 c. water
1 cinnamon stick
12 oz. pkg. fresh cranberries


Preparation:

Add sugar and water in a sauce pan. Stir to dissolve sugar while bringing to a boil. Add the cinnamon stick and cranberries. Return the mixture to a boil, the reduce the heat and boil gently for 10 minutes, stirring occasionally until cranberries have popped open. Remove pan from heat. Remove cinnamon stick. Cool to room temperature then refrigerate.
