Grilled Sweet Peppers Recipe from foodfreeway.com Ingredients Preparation Quarter sweet peppers (red, green, yellow, etc) and remove seeds. Place the peppers in a food storage bag with a little olive oil, balsamic vinegar, and salt and pepper to taste. You can also add red pepper flakes or crushed red pepper for a zesty taste. We've not tried it, but your favorite hot sauce or hot oil might also be added. Allow peppers to soak in marinade for at least 30 minutes, shaking the bag occasionally. We usually grill the peppers directly on the grill, but you could also use a wire basket. Don't overcook the peppers - five minutes should be plenty of time.
